The frost has hit and I was a little sad a couple weeks ago to lose some basil from frost. I used most of it, so not that bad. However I decided that it was time to pick and make a herb paste to freeze with the rest of the hardier herbs in the garden. I love mango juice! Although if you’ve ever juiced a mango, you will know that the juice from it can be quite thick. Some fruits are harder than others to juice, like strawberries and mangos. However, they are both in this green juice recipe because despite the thicker smoothie-like juice that you get from these less watery fruits, the taste is amazing. My juice challenge of getting out the juicer and juicing every day is going strong over here. I have not been posting every juice, and I have not been taking pictures of every juice. This green juice recipe is not for the faint of taste. Wink My mom looked at me questioningly, like – You want me to drink that? haha. I loved it, but admittedly it is one of my stronger juices. This delicious green juice is sweetened with apple and flavored by basil and mint. It was delicious and a favorite with everyone.  I think I scared Mom from green juice with the garlic and ginger, which I love! But I won her back with the sweet mint.
