The left over pulp from juicing is an excellent ingredient to use to make crackers. This juice pulp cracker recipe is made with a base of flax, seeds and juice pulp and has lots of herbs and onion to flavor it. These crackers are not only delicious but the texture is great as well. They are crisp, yet light and they break easily and have a good crunch to them. || Read more

This tasty flax crackers recipe is sweet, salty and spicy and flavored with garam masala.  Garam masala is an aromatic blend of spices common in North Indian and South Asian cuisines. These super healthy crackers are primarily made of nutritious EFA rich flax seeds, which are  mixed with vegetables and seasonings to make them delicious, and then dehydrated to preserve the abundant enzymes and nutrition.   || Read more

This raw vegan burger recipe was created a few years ago, when I made an abundance of a veggie pate for an event. I often make too much food. That probably comes from having kids, and often a house full of kids! I have learned that left over food always gets eaten and I rarely throw food away. So this time as usual, I had lots left over. But this time I decided to form the veggie pate into patties and try dehydrating them into burgers. Success. They turned out wonderfully! So this pate recipe is a dual purpose. You can enjoy it as a pate with crackers and also make very healthy and delicious burgers as well!  || Read more

This raw version of corn chips makes one of my favorite snack foods super nutritious and something you can feel good about eating. No more guilty junk foods. Eat delicious snacks that you can feel great about! These chips are dehydrated until they are crispy. The process of drying at lower temperatures enables the chips to retain the ingredients original nutrition and high level of enzymes. The corn chips are made from sprouted buckwheat, flax seeds and organic corn and are lightly spiced and salted with a hand harvested mineral rich salt.  || Read more

I love jicama fries! They are a little different than french fries in their texture but they are delicious and totally satisfy that salty, crunchy, fried craving you may get every once in awhile. As long as you realize that it is not an exact substitute and to expect a bit of a different texture, then you may find yourself craving these after trying them the first time instead. They are super healthy if you are comparing them to anything deep fried, but are they the healthiest thing on the raw foods menu.. maybe not. Nothing beats greens imho, but that being said.. if you can stop at just one plateful, and combine them with other healthy foods, then these fries totally rock!!   || Read more
