This is the first workout in a series of 26 – under 10 minute – metabolism booster – workouts. It is body weight based ,so you don’t need any equipment, only yourself. This workout, like many of the workouts I do is done in intervals. Click the link in the workout description below to find out more about intervals timers and for links to online timers. These types of exercises and workouts are very effective to lose weight and sculpt the body. They work! I just turned 49 and find that they are ideal for women in their 40’s, especially as our metabolism starts to slow down. These workouts keep it revved up and our bodies functioning optimally. This quick 8 minute workout is made up of 2 tabata rounds. Each one is 4 minutes and you alternate doing 2 exercises. Interval training is known to be great at revving up your metabolism and get your body working at top speed and burning fat as a fuel source.  I love the exercises in this workout! This workout is a quick 8 minute workout designed to boost your metabolism and get your body burning fat and working optimally. It is great for when you don’t have a lot of time. But this workout, like all of the metabolism booster workouts can be made longer to get more of a workout in by repeating or lengthening the rounds. I put some options below and I did option 1. In this workout a cardio round is alternated with 6 minutes of intervals using the Ugi ball. Ugi is awesome! But if you don’t have one, the exercises can also be done with bodyweight or by substituting another ball or weighted object.  || Read more

This devious little workout can be done in under 10 minutes. It has a quick cardio flash of 100 mountain climbers sandwiching 6 minutes of intervals with some great really fun – feel like you’re in the circus- Swiss ball exercises. This workout is really ab focused with 4 of those exercises targeting your core ab muscles and the others to strengthen back and build hamstrings. Have fun with this one! This metabolism booster workout is 8 minutes and is made up of 2 parts. The first is to do as many reps as you can of the Roll back Ugi Burpee exercise and the second is 5 minutes of intervals with 6 great exercises. This workout is mostly core and abs focused with lots of planks and also has some leg work, with a few lunge exercises mixed in.
